No. Trap only bans users who post a message in the designated trap channel. Legitimate users have no reason to send messages there, since the channel clearly warns against it. You can also whitelist specific roles to ensure they are never affected.
Yes. You can choose between Softban (ban + unban, deletes recent messages), Permanent Ban (user added to global blacklist), or Disabled (monitoring only, no action). Use /setup to configure.
Bans are logged in the log channel you configure during setup. Each log includes the user's info, the message content, any links or attachments detected, and a timestamp.
When cross-ban is enabled, any user permanently banned on your server is added to a global blacklist. They will be automatically banned on all other Trap servers that have this feature enabled — and vice versa.
